An antique coral mala with silver counters and ivory guru bead.The coral is worn smooth from countless recitations of mantras and prayers. The beads vary in size and shape because it is likely that damaged beads have been replaced over the years. Some beads have turned darker from absorbing oils from the skin. Coral beads average 8 mm diameter.
