Tibetan Woman from Southern Tibet wearing a stunning headdress adorned with freshwater pearls and coral. (Early 1920's)

Very sacred Stupa (Tibetan: Chorten) that contains precious relics of Kagyu lineage masters. On the outside we can see huge amber, turquoise, coral and dZi which shows just how much these beads are prized. This photo was taken in the early 1970's and the Stupa is housed in Rumtek Monastery, India.

Tibetan nomads

A fine quality newly created Six eyed dZi. There are very few 'new' beads of this quality available to collectors. The Taiwanese workshop that created this bead no longer exists, so they command high prices (hundreds of dollars) in and outside of Taiwan.
