Today, Friday the 13th of June is the auspicious celebration of Saga Dawa in the Tibetan lunar calendar. This full moon day traditionally marks the time of the historical Buddha's enlightenment and parinirvana. It is regarded by Tibetans as the holiest day of the year and is an important time for Dharma practice, making offerings and pilgrimage. All meritorious acts are believed to be multiplied by 10 Million times on this day.
